THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a HEAVY MOBILE EQUIPMENT MECHANIC (Title 32), Position Description Number D2431000 and is part of the IL 182 AW, National Guard.
The primary purpose of this position is to perform work of limited scope or difficulty involved in the maintenance and repair of grounds, exterior structures, buildings, and related utilities, and to assist journeyman or other higher graded maintenance workers in performing more difficult assignments associated with occupations such as carpentry, masonry, plumbing, electrical, cement work, painting, roofing, and other related trades.

These positions are temporary seasonals not to exceed 1560 hours work in a service year.
The position is located in the Architect of the Capitol; Office of the Chief Operating Officer, Superintendent, Capitol Building; Assistant Superintendent, Capitol Building and Capitol Visitor Center Operations and Maintenance Division; Maintenance Branch; Electrical Section, Day Electrical Unit (including weekends and holidays as needed).
