The Cardiac Cath Lab (CCL) Registered Nurse (RN) provides assessment, monitoring, scrubbing, nursing interventions, and evaluation in the Cardiac Cath procedure rooms for veterans undergoing invasive and non-invasive diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac catheterization procedures, and other invasive cardiac procedures in the Cardiac/Electrophysiologic (EP) Lab, serves as liaisons between cardiologists, patients, and families. This position has on-call requirements.

The incumbent serves as the Section Chief, Chemistry and Toxicology, Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Service (P&LMS) at the VA Eastern Colorado Healthcare System (VA ECHSC). Incumbent may travel between campuses (CBOC) to perform duties and supervision, but the actual duty station will be at the Rocky Mountain Regional VAMC. This position is not supervisory.
