This Supervisory Store Associate serves in a developmental capacity as the first line supervisor and manager of the Front-End Department of a Commissary store. They are responsible for all aspects of planning, scheduling, coordinating and controlling front end activities and personnel, and controlling all funds received and deposited daily as part of the front-end department operations. Specific assignments vary by individual store and store management requirements.
This position is for the Medical Supply Distribution (MSD) areas of the Logistics Service within the Veteran Affairs Health Care System (VA HCS), Charlotte VA Healthcare Center (CLT HCC) and supported catchment area.
About the position: This position is Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Resource Management Flight on JBER, AK. Regular Full-Time employees have a regular and continuous work schedule of at least 35 hours per week to a maximum of 40 hours per week. This position serves as the Supervisory Supply Technician (Medical) for the Medical Supply Distribution (MSD) areas of Logistics Service within the VA Health Care System. As a Supervisory Supply Technician, you will ensure that supplies and material are distributed to all areas serviced by Logistics by directing, supervising and managing the primary inventory point that receives, stores and issues supplies and materials for both clinical and administrative service areas of the medical center.
This intermittent position is located in the Transportation Section of the Engineering Service within the Hudson Valley Healthcare System and will be required to work at the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Hospital in Montrose, NY and the Castle Point VA Medical Center in Wappingers Falls, NY. This is an intermittent position that works irregular hours including weekends and evenings, based on the needs of the medical center.
The Data Scientist-Northeast Program Evaluation Center (NEPEC) is organizationally part of the VA Central Office (VACO) Office of Mental Health and Suicide Prevention (OMHSP). This position is in direct communication with OMHSP, as well as the Director and Associate Directors of NEPEC.
