The incumbent serves as the Advanced Medical Support Assistant, Care in the Community for the VA Hudson Valley Health Care System, with the responsibilities supporting The Mission Act and non-VA care in conjunction with community and facility schedulers, clinicians, and management.
This position will be assigned to the Club on Grissom Air Reserve Base, Indiana. This is a Regular Full-Time position with guaranteed 35 hrs./wk., may work up to 40 hrs./wk., scheduled as needed. Position requires working irregular schedules, to include weekends, holidays, and all shifts. Employees appointed to a Regular category position are eligible for benefits. Employees are eligible to use the fitness center, lodging, and other activities.
