This position is assigned to the Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) Fleet Readiness Branch; Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) Programs; Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC). Incumbent performs a variety of duties in support of the Liberty Program.
The incumbents work impacts the administrative aspect of patient care, including Access to care, Scheduling/Coordinating appointments using Advanced Clinic Access (ACA) principles, collecting and updating demographic and insurance information, managing the Specialty Consults, reporting normal lab and imaging results to patients at the request of the clinical team, patient processing and Customer Service.
About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Joint Base Charleston or Naval Weapons Station Base Pool. Will be determined by the facility. May work have to work at both the Charleston Air Force Base and Weapon Station which is be determined by the facility. Physical Effort: Must be physically fit and be capable of lifting and moving up to 40 pounds.
This position serves as an Advanced Medical Support Assistant at the VA WNY Healthcare System, and is under the supervision of the Health Administration Service. Performs clerical work in support of the care given to patients, such as receiving patients or maintaining patient files; work administering or advising on medical record systems. Analytical ability, judgment, discretion, and dedication to customer service are required.
Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Information and Technology, Enterprise Infrastructure and Operations Directorate, located in Ashburn, VA.
Primary purpose of the position is to provide administrative and customer service support for the Fort Harrison Montana VA Medical Center Nutrition and Food Service. Incumbent performs duties that require exceptional customer service, computer skills, proper phone etiquette, proficiency in special food service and therapeutic diet procedures, a broad knowledge of routine modified diets, combinations of diet modification and knowledge of Commercial Off the Shelf Dietetics software.
The Advanced MSA works collaboratively in an interdisciplinary coordinated care delivery model (i.e. Patient Aligned Care Team) and performs receptionist duties, scheduling duties, customer service and other duties as assigned for the proper and timely treatment of patients and maintains appointment schedules for one or more outpatient clinics.
