This position is in the FTA Office of Environmental Policy and Programs (TPE-30) and serves as the Director, supervising two Division Chiefs and their staff. This position is responsible for developing and delivering environmental regulations, policies, programs, and guidance to enhance, integrate and provide technical assistance on environmental decision-making in the planning and development of FTA projects, and to minimize the adverse impacts of FTA-funded projects on the environment.
This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) & eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after review of the EDRP application.
