The Medical Instrument Technician (Polysomnography) performs overnight and daytime sleep studies including polysomnography, CPAP/BiPAP titration, Multiple Sleep latency Tests (MSLT), Maintenance of Wakefulness Tests (MWT). The technician independently acquires physiological data, monitors patients, scores studies and ensures safe, high quality sleep diagnostics. The position requires knowledge of sleep physiology, respiratory patterns, cardiac rhythms, and technical trouble shooting.
