Job Description

Required Work Experience Three years of experience in frame construction or assembly; or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the following knowledge, abilities and skills. Required Special Skills/ Knowledge As part of our hiring process, we may conduct a skills assessment to better understand an applicant’s proficiency in key areas relevant to the role. Knowledge of professional techniques and practices used in framing pictures. Skill in assembling, matting and framing pictures. Skill in using glass cutting tools. Ability to operate woodworking equipment and machinery. Ability to communicate effectively. Strong customer service and interpersonal relationship skills. Working Conditions Work requires frequent physical effort standing, bending, stooping, arm movement, hand-eye coordination, and precision. Heavy (carrying of items more than 50 pounds). Work exposes the employee to hazardous materials (chemicals, fumes), noise, and dust. Work requires employee to wear uniforms (or gloves or other protective equipment besides a respirator).
