Job Description
In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. For the CP-9 level you must have one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to at least the CP-08/GS-10 level which is in or directly related to the line of work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience for this grade level is defined as 1) coordinating with stakeholders, gathering and validating information, identifying problems and trends, developing findings, and preparing reports, briefings, process documentation, and recommendations for review.; and 2) performing management studies, organizational assessments, business-process analyses, program and project reviews, and related analytical assignments designed to improve the efficiency and effectiveness. For the CP-10 level you must have one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to at least the CP-9/GS-11 level which is in or directly related to the line of work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience for this grade level is defined as: 1) applying established management principles, project-management methods, and qualitative and quantitative analytical techniques to evaluate policies, procedures, workflows, management systems, and operating practices and to develop recommendations for management consideration; 2) experience in management analysis, project coordination, process improvement, data analysis, reporting, and the preparation of recommendations and analytical products for management. For the CP-11 level you must have one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to at least the CP-10/GS-12 level which is in or directly related to the line of work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience for this grade level is defined as 1) planning and conducting complex management studies, organizational assessments, business-process analyses, program and project reviews, and related analytical assignments designed to improve the efficiency and effectiveness; and 2) leading the development and management of project and study objectives, scope, methodology, milestones, deliverables, schedules, resource requirements, and evaluation criteria.
