Job Summary
The Office of the Clerk serves as the official record keeper of the US House of Representatives, and supports the nonpartisan legislative functions of the institution, including disseminating legislative information and supporting technological advancement. Job Description
· Seven (7) or more years of experience in an IT-related field, including significant hands-on experience in software testing or quality assurance. · Demonstrated experience designing, developing, and executing automated and manual tests for complex software applications and data-driven systems. · Hands-on experience with test automation tools and integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to assess system behavior, identify defects, and evaluate quality and release risks. · Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly communicate testing results, risks, and impacts to technical and non-technical audiences. · Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. It would be ideal if your experience also includes: · Experience with Azure DevOps and modern test automation frameworks. · Familiarity with data-driven or integrated enterprise systems. · Experience supporting regression testing, release readiness, and quality reporting. · Experience working in Agile delivery environments. · Knowledge of the federal legislative and law-making process.
