This is a Title 32 Dual Status Technician Excepted Service position. Military affiliation is required.

TECHNICIAN INFO Type of Appointment: Permanent Tenure: Group 1 or 2 Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 4:30 pm FLSA: Exempt Telework: The duties of this position require primary physical presence. Situational teleworking may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Para/Line: 4141/005 Selecting Official: MAJ Scott Koenig AREAS OF CONSIDERATION: Referrals of qualified applicants will be as follows: Area 1: All permanent and indefinite Wyoming National Guard (NG) WY ARNG employees assigned to the AASF. Area 2: All permanent and indefinite Wyoming National Guard (NG) T32 Dual Status technicians employed within the Wyoming National Guard. Area 4: All current Drill Status Airmen and M-day soldiers of the Wyoming National Guard. Area 6: Current military members of the US Army, Army Reserves or other states' Army National Guard units. Must be willing/eligible to join the Wyoming Army National Guard as a military member prior to appointment to position. MILITARY GRADE Warrant Officer: CW2-CW4 Officer: 2LT - CPT Acceptance of this position does not in any way constitute a military promotion. EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Army National Guard Warrant Officers: Must have a high school diploma or general education development (GED) diploma. An undergraduate degree from an accredited college/university is optimum. Must have Federal Aviation Administration certifications awarded from accredited civilian aviation programs OR must have aviation certifications from accredited military aviation schools. Army National Guard Officers: Second and First Lieutenants must be actively pursuing an undergraduate degree with at least 90 validated credit hours in a specified program. Captains must have an undergraduate degree from an accredited college/university. A Graduate Degree from an accredited civilian academic college or from an equivalent professional military education school is optimum. Must have Federal Aviation Administration certifications awarded from accredited civilian aviation programs OR must have aviation certifications from accredited military aviation schools. MANDATORY QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Must possess Federal Aviation Administration pilot certificates -OR- appropriate military certifications, military ratings in the UH-60 military helicopter, and the required competencies (knowledge, skills, and abilities). SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must possess at least two years specialized competencies in operating a UH-60 military helicopter, mission planning, and mission preparation. Experienced in performing as a Pilot-in-Command of UH-60 series aircraft. Competent in conducting or supervising the training of crew members in simple to complex mission specific tasks. Experienced in developing plans and policies, monitoring operations, and advising commanders. Knowledge is required in flight theory, air navigation, meteorology, flying directives, mission tactics, and operating procedures. NOTE: Education, Mandatory Qualification Requirements and Specialized Experience will be used to determine qualifications for the announced position. Applicants must show start and end in MM/YYYY to MM/YYYY format (e.g., 02/2015 - 03/2017 or Feb 2017 - Mar 2017) dates and hours worked per week with description of your specialized experience on the resume. MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: Selected candidates will be required to be in a compatible military grade and assignment prior to the effective date of placement. Must possess one of the following MOS Series: 153 (Warrant Officer), or 15A/B or 67J (Officer). DRIVER'S LICENSE: Must possess a valid driver's license.
