This is a Title 32 Dual Status Technician Excepted Service position. Military affiliation is required.
Job Description
AREAS OF CONSIDERATION: The consideration of qualified eligible candidates will be as follows: Area 2: All permanent and indefinite Wyoming Air National Guard (ANG) T32 Dual Status technicians employed within the Wyoming Air National Guard. Area 4: All current military members of the Wyoming Air National Guard. Area 6: Current and prior military service members separated from any branch of the military to include US Air Force, US Army, US Navy, US Marine Corps, Reserves, and National Guard components. Must be willing/eligible to join the Wyoming Air National Guard as a military member prior to appointment to position. TECHNICIAN INFO Type of Appointment: Permanent Tenure: Group 1 or 2 Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 4:30 pm FLSA: Exempt Telework: The duties of this position require primary physical presence. Situational teleworking may be considered on a case-by-case basis. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Must have successfully completed undergraduate or graduate education, and the awarded college degree should be in one of, or a combination of the following disciplines: accounting, business, finance, economics, math, statistics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organizational management. (Must include legible copies of transcripts showing degree type and award date with application). SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must possess at least 1-year equivalent specialized experience to at least the next lower grade level (GS-12) and have fundamental working experiences with a validated understanding of the basic principles and concepts of the financial management occupational series and grade. Experiences gained through military technical training schools, or civilian academic courses or related civilian work are included in the one-year on-the-job specialized experience. AND Possess experience managing the function of the work to be performed; and experience leading, directing and assigning work of personnel. NOTE: Education Requirements, General Experience and Specialized Experience will be used to determine qualifications for the announced position. Applicants must provide from MM/YYYY - MM/YYYY (e.g., 02/2015 - 03/2017 or Feb 2017 - Mar - 2017) dates and hours worked per week with description of your specialized experience on the resume. FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENT: Continued employment in this position is subject to successfully obtaining and maintaining a Level 3 DoD Financial Management Certification within two years from entry on duty to the position unless the incumbent is already in a position that requires a Level 3 certification in which case, he/she must complete the certification in the original 2-year period. MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: Selected candidates will be required to be in a compatible military grade and assignment prior to the effective date of placement. COMPATIBLE MILITARY ASSIGNMENTS: Officer: C65F3, Financial Management (Able to obtain) Prefix C identifies positions and officers serving in, or qualified to serve in, positions of command below group level, such as squadron, support squadrons, or detachments. DRIVER'S LICENSE: Must possess a valid state's driver's license.
