This National Guard position is for an AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE OFFICER, Position Description Number PDD1640000 and is part of the WY 153d Airlift Wing, Wyoming Air National Guard. This is a Title 32 Dual Status Technician Excepted Service position. Military affiliation is required.

Job Description

AREAS OF CONSIDERATION: The consideration of qualified eligible candidates will be as follows: Area 2: All permanent and indefinite Wyoming Air National Guard (ANG) T32 Dual Status technicians employed within the Wyoming Air National Guard. Area 4: All current military members of the Wyoming Air National Guard. Area 6: Current military service members to include the US Air Force, Air Force Reserves, and other states' Air National Guard units. Must be willing/eligible to join the Wyoming Air National Guard as a military member prior to appointment to position. TECHNICIAN INFO Type of Appointment: Permanent Tenure: Group 1 or 2 Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 4:30 pm FLSA: Exempt Telework: The duties of this position require primary physical presence. Situational teleworking may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Technician Position #: 0857062 Selecting Official: Col Bret Trippel MILITARY GRADE Min: O-5 (Must have COE to O-6) - Must include proof of COE with application Max: O-6 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must possess at least 1-year specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade (GS-13) that provided experience in applying principles, concepts, and methods of equipment, facility, or service operations sufficient in planning assignments. Experience using well-established occupational methods and techniques to determine facility, grounds, equipment overhaul, maintenance, restoration, repair needs, etc. Experience in determination of resource needs, allocation of resources, and budgeting/funding needs; and experience in human resources management policy matters affecting the entire organization, with personnel actions affecting key employees to include experience coordinating work forces and resources and negotiating with management or clients concerning problems. AND Experience in managing the function of the work to be performed; and experience which includes leading, directing and assigning work of personnel. NOTE: Specialized Experience will be used to determine qualifications for the announced position.
