Job Summary

Serves as a Contract Specialist in the Contracting Department of the Hale Koa Hotel. 2025 Cost of Living Allowance (COLA) for Honolulu, HI is 8.64%. Local candidates will be reviewed first as PCS is not authorized. If determined that area of consideration is to be expanded, all candidates will be considered.

Job Description

1. Extensive experience in applying acquisition laws, contract principles, statues, Executive Orders, regulations and/or procedures applicable to pre-award and post award actions. 2. Experience in procuring and administering contracts for a wide variety of supplies, services, and construction. 3. Experience demonstrating the ability to lead, teach, and mentor others. 4. Must have experience creating and delivering formal written and oral presentations to various levels (i.e., writing complex acquisition plans, statements of work, solicitations, contracts and supporting documentation; conducting proposal conferences, site visits, evaluation panels, and debriefings). HIGHLY QUALIFIED CRITERIA FOR THIS POSITION ARE: - Possess a Bachelor's degree which includes a minimum of 24 semester hours of business courses, Certified Professional Contracts Manager, Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act Professional Certification in contracting or other applicable professional certification - Has been or currently a warranted Contracting Officer.
