Job Summary
THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a INTEGRATED PRIMARY PREVENTION SPECIALIST (PREV WF). This position is located within the Integrated Primary Prevention Section at the Joint Forces Headquarters. Serves as the Integrated Primary Prevention Specialist under the direction of the State Integrated Primary Prevention Officer. Responsible for executing and providing oversight for the state integrated primary prevention operations.
Job Description
Military Grades: ENL: E-5 - E-9; W01 - CW04; OFF: 2LT-O1 - LTC - O5 GENERAL EXPERIENCE: MUST possess one of the following: a. Degree in behavioral or social science or related discipline appropriate to the position that included at least 24 semester hours of course work in the behavioral or social sciences; b. Combination of education and experience that has provided knowledge of the one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field that included at least 24 semester hours of course work in the behavioral or social sciences; c. Four years of appropriate experience that demonstrates that you have acquired knowledge or one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:GS-12 Level MUST possess at least 1-year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level of GS-11; experience, education or training analyzing problems, identifying significant factors, gathering pertinent data and recognizing solutions; preparing reports, plans, policies and various correspondence; evaluating objectives and develop plans to facilitate the availability and effective utilization of various social science resources; knowledge of the organization and its mission and utilized the organizational staff procedures; experience applying analytical and evaluative techniques to issues or studies concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of social science program operations carried out by administrative or professional personnel, or substantive administrative support function. Special Requirements: Possess/Maintain Secret Clearance Pass Suitability tier 3 check for positions of Trust Attain SPARKS certification within 6 months of hiring Basic Requirements Degree: behavioral or social science; or related disciplines appropriate to the position. OR Combination of education and experience that provided the applicant with knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field. OR Four years of appropriate experience that demonstrated that the applicant has acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.
