GROUP II - All qualified Virginia Air National Guard Male/Female Enlisted Member (E4/SrA - E6/TSgt) regardless of employment status (Traditional, Military Technician or AGR). To be considered as a Group II applicant, proof of appointment/enlistment in the Virginia National Guard must be attached if the appointment/enlistment occurred within 60 days prior to, or during, the advertisement period. GROUP III - Individuals eligible for membership in the Virginia Air National Guard. Military Grades: Enlisted Member (E4/SrA - E6/TSgt) GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Applicant must have experience, education or training which provided a general knowledge of principles of organization, management, and administration. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicant must have at least 12 months specialized experience, education, or training, equivalent to at least the GS-07 level, or equivalent pay band in other pay systems in the Federal government? This experience may also have been obtained in the private sector, but must demonstrate that it is comparable to the GS grade indicated. This experience must include activities such as: Applicants must have experience providing technical guidance and assistance in the type of work or in comparable work of the position to be filled. Applicants must have a thorough knowledge and understanding of administrative procedures and practices of management. Experience developing administrative procedures. Applicants must have experience, education or training in any position that required compiling reports, letters, memoranda, etc., and required person-to-person contacts to convey information.
