GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have experience, education or training of the basic principles and practices related to the management of a health care delivery system. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least 12 months of specialized experience, education, or training equivalent to at least the GS-7 level, or equivalent pay band in other pay systems in the Federal government? This experience may also have been obtained in the private sector but must demonstrate that it is comparable to the GS grade indicated. This experience must include activities such as: Experience being responsible analytical or administrative, or clinical management or supervisory experience in the health care field. Experience with work involved a close working relationship with facility managers and analysis and/or coordination of administrative, clinical, or other service activities. Knowledge of government-wide, agency, and facility systems and requirements in various administrative areas such as budget, personnel, and procurement. Knowledge of Regulations and standards of various regulatory and credentialing groups.
