Job Description

Military Grades: WO1 through CW4 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have 36 months specialized experience, education, or training of a comprehensive range of maintenance management policies and practices regarding remedial maintenance, scheduled services, equipment classification, technical inspections for issue/turn-in, equipment accountability, and related administrative and supply management practices; experience of analog and digital circuit theory, pneumatics, hydraulics, optics, opto-electronics, electro-mechanics, and all associated terminology and symbolism in order to identify and repair medical equipment failures, to perform medical equipment incoming and PM inspections, and to design new devices or implement medical equipment modifications/interfaces; experience of the operation and application of standard and special purpose Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment in order to troubleshoot and repair medical equipment failures, to perform medical equipment preventive maintenance and calibration services, and to perform remedial maintenance of medical equipment; experience, knowledge and ability to interpret and relate federal, Army, state, and local standards and regulatory requirements associated with medical equipment maintenance, maintenance shop operation, and local environment; and knowledge of automated data processing systems to include a well-informed practical knowledge of Army property accounting and maintenance database systems.
