This position is part of the Branch of Business Operations and manages budgets and financial processes for Office and Bureau programs, supporting the distribution, allocation, and execution of funds.

BASIC REQUIREMENT: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/0500/budget-analysis-series-0560/ MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Your resume must demonstrate at least (1) year of full-time specialized experience comparable in difficulty and responsibility to the GS-11 grade level that equipped you with the knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of this position. Examples include: 1) Managing budget guidance in budget planning and formulation; 2) Tracking and collecting data from information systems and preparing budget and finance reports; 3) Reviewing appropriations acts and fund distributions, obligations, expenditures and allocations of funding sources to evaluate program, project and operational costs; and 4) coordinates strategic planning, policy direction and guidance and development and review of appropriations and authorization. All qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement. Merit Promotion candidates must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the announcement closing date.
