This position is located with the Bureau of Indian Affairs, San Carlos Irrigation Project in Coolidge, Arizona. The incumbent exercises delegated authority to carry out program functions and services that constitute the essential purpose of the Power Division of the San Carlos Irrigation Project.

Job Description

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: (OPM Operating Manual, Qualification Standards for Administrative and Management Positions for GS-0340-14: Program Manager). GS-14 Minimum Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service: exhibiting thorough knowledge of regulations, policies, and statistics pertaining to power system electrical utility operation and management, ensuring compliance with electrical utility regulatory agencies; maintaining electric utility standards as applicable to power programs in order to effectively plan and program implementation of power construction, repair, and rehabilitation projects; and planning and directing the management of power for electric utility customers living in remote areas. All qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement. Merit Promotion candidates must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the announcement closing date.
