Job Summary

This position is located with the Bureau of Indian Affairs, District 1-Turtle Mountain Agency in Belcourt, North Dakota. This is an OPEN CONTINUOUS ANNOUNCEMENT and will remain open until 04/14/2026. The initial cut-off for referral of eligible applications will be 03/30/2026. Job Description

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: (OPM Operating Manual, Qualification Standards ). Minimum Qualification for GS-4 Dispatcher: To qualify at the GS-04 grade level you must meet ONE of the following criteria: A. General Work Experience: One year of general work experience that is progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that demonstrates or reflects the ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position. OR, B. Education: 2 full academic years (60 semester hours or 90 quarter hours) of education beyond the high school level at an accredited college or university. OR, C. A combination of experience and education that totals 100% of the requirement. All qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement. Merit Promotion candidates must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the announcement closing date. Additional selections may be made from this announcement if identical vacancies occur in the same location within 90 days from the closing date.
