You will serve as a MECHANICAL ENGINEER in the ENGINEERING & PLANNING DEPARTMENT, FLUID/MECHANICAL ENGINEERING & PLANNING DIVISION of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.

Job Description

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional engineer, conducting repair and maintenance of non-nuclear mechanical/fluid submarine and surface ship system and components; communicating technical requirements with production shops, ship force, and other engineering activities; and providing cost estimates, preparing technical work documents, and resolving deviations utilizing engineering methods.
