This position is located in the Office of the Administration, Executive Office for Immigration Review, U. S. Department of Justice. Incumbent serves as Space and Facilities Analyst. This is a Competitive Service position; additional positions may be filled from this announcement within 90 days of certificate issuance.

Job Description

In order to qualify for the Space and Facilities Analyst position, you must meet the following time in grade requirements and minimum qualifications: TIME-IN-GRADE REQUIREMENTS: Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-12 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-13 level. (Please submit your SF-50 that shows Time-in-Grade eligibility and reflects your title, series, and grade. If your eligibility for both merit promotion and/or time-in-grade cannot be determined, your application will be rated ineligible. Please see Required Documents for additional information). Time-in-grade requirements also apply to VEOA applicants having held a GS position in the past year. FOR THE GS-13 LEVEL: Specialized Experience: Applicants must have at least one year (52 weeks, full-time) of specialized work experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal service (or comparable experience outside the Federal service), performing the following duties: Demonstrated knowledge of real property and leasing as it pertains to GSA policies and procedures; Managing space and facility project schedules and coordinated tasks to ensure completion is on time; Preparing and submitting items into the development of the space and facility annual budget; Monitoring budget for fund availability for new space acquisitions, renovations or other improvements; Developing operational and financial data to establish organizational performance metrics.
