You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the DOCTRINE, TACTICS, AND FUTURES DEVELOPMENT DIRECTORATE of NAVY EXPEDITIONARY WARFIGHTING DEV CTR.

Job Description

To qualify for the GS-13, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience leading cross-warfare specialty teams in the creation and promulgation of new fleet level developmental publications. Experience with joint, combined, Navy and Naval warfare objectives, operations, concepts, and doctrine (e.g. naval concepts, CONOPS, joint pubs and NWPS). Experience demonstrating a professional understanding of a variety of disciplines, including naval warfare and the mission areas of expeditionary, construction, force protection and countering irregular challenges. Experience displaying an understanding of Navy Expeditionary Forces, command structures, units', organizations, missions, capabilities, and support structures. This knowledge must be gained through operational assignments within Naval, or Joint Expeditionary Forces, or equivalent experiences. Experience with variety of duties involving different and often unrelated processes and methods, requiring consideration of myriad factors, extending traditional techniques to develop new procedures to meet organizational goals.
