Job Summary

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Comptroller Department, Business and Financial Management Division of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST. The duty location of this position Naval Air Station, San Diego, CA.

Job Description

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-12) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Interpreting financial policies, regulations, and practices to provide guidance on fiduciary compliance; 2) Formulating budget, cost estimates, and support plans for competency and program budgets; 3) Performing and advising on work in various phases of budget administration; 4) Utilizing a financial system of record (i.e. Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)) to extract, analyze, and interpret business and financial reports/data; 5) Applying knowledge of cost and trend analysis to make recommendations for improving forecasted program workload and resource requirements; and 6) Monitoring spend plans and execution of funding, including maintenance of associated records in financial management systems.
