You will serve as a Travel Administrator in the Command Operations Department located at Naval Air Technical Data and Engineering Service Center of NV AIR TECHNICAL DATA AND ENGRG SVC.

Job Description

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector preforming some or all of the following: 1) Applying analytical techniques and evaluation criteria to assess and improve the effectiveness, efficiency, and compliance of DTS and DoD travel programs; 2) Proving expert guidance of DoD passenger travel laws, regulations, and policies-including the Joint Travel Regulations (JTR) and DoD Financial Management Regulation (FMR)-to oversee and optimize DTS CONUS/OCONUS and related travel systems; 3) Interpreting, reconciling, and validating complex or incomplete DTS and travel data, drawing sound analytical conclusions and integrating input from analysts and subject matter experts to support Branch and Division leadership; 4) Providing timely, actionable travel analysis and recommendations to inform policy decisions, program adjustments, and system enhancements for Department-wide travel support; 5) Representing the organization in DTS and travel-focused seminars, conferences, and professional forums, effectively communicating travel policy, system capabilities, and program impacts to stakeholders.
