You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the ENGINEERING AND PLANNING DEPARTMENT of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD.

Job Description

FOR GS-12 - Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experienced in performing comprehensive financial management analysis supporting all phases of budget formulation, justification, execution, and financial operations for organizational programs and activities. Experienced in carrying out assigned financial management work involving budget formulation and execution, financial analysis, reporting, and internal controls. Experienced in selecting appropriate analytical approaches, data sources, and methods, resolves most technical and methodological issues independently, and coordinates work across related financial processes and systems. Experienced in conducting complex financial and program analyses to evaluate costs, benefits, risks, and alternative methods for managing organizational programs and administrative operations. FOR GS-11 - Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience in preparing reports, charts, and graphs for presentations and briefings to higher level authorities Experience in coordinating the execution of budgets. Experience in assisting conducting complex financial and program analyses to evaluate costs and benefits. Experience in utilizing finance and budget automated systems and software.
