Job Summary

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST in the QUALITY CONTROL DIVISION, COMPLIANCE AND QUALITY DEPARTMENT of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST.

Job Description

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-11) grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate duties related to the following: 1) Conducting quality audits and investigations, analyzing the results and developing recommendations for corrections and improvements; 2) Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical data associated with the production and manufacturing process; 3) Reading and interpreting blueprints, work orders, instructions, and technical manuals; 4) Utilizing data collection procedures and information gathering techniques; 5) Ensuring that verification of essential quality requirements is accomplished, deficiencies are properly documented, and corrective actions are taken to prevent recurrence; 6) Providing assistance to resolve product and process quality issues, to implement process improvements, and to identify and resolve safety related issues and violations; and 7) Planning, organizing, and directing the activities of personnel, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and ensuring customer requirements are satisfied.
