Job Summary
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY GENERAL ENGINEER in the PRODUCTION ENGINEERING & FACILITIES DIVISION, PRODUCTION RESOURCES DEPARTMENT of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD.
Job Description
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: * Experience with mechanical, electrical, and civil engineering principles, theories, concepts, and practices. * Experience developing inspection requirements, standard operating procedures, and special working conditions required for certain jobs. * Experience resolving technical, scientific, engineering and design problems. * Experience managing and completing the process of industrial ship repair. * Experience developing, managing, executing, and administering annual budgets. * Experience working with metrics, performance indicators, and statistical process control.
