Job Description
GS-05: Your resume must demonstrate that you have at least three years of general experience that includes one year of experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-04) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector showing experience assisting in the administration, implementation, and execution of personnel, physical, information, and industrial security programs for military, civilian, and contractor personnel. This experience includes supporting senior staff with security inspections, conducting security training and awareness, and managing operational programs such as visitor and property control. Additionally, I possess experience utilizing office automation software and equipment to draft technical reports, official memoranda, and statistical correspondence. -OR - Have a combination of education and experience that equates to one year of experience. GS-07: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector independently administering, implementing, and executing comprehensive personnel, physical, information, and industrial security programs for military, civilian, and contractor personnel. This experience includes planning and conducting security inspections, delivering security training, and exercising independent judgment to interpret, select, and apply complex federal security regulations to resolve non-routine issues. Additionally, candidates must have experience authoring technical reports and official policy memoranda, managing security operations with minimal supervision, and delivering finished deliverables that require review for overall alignment with organizational objectives. -OR- Have a combination of education and experience that equates to one year of experience.
