Job Summary
You will serve as the Business Operations Manager in the Strategic & Computing Systems Department of NAVSURFWARCENDLD. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-5 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-13 and GS-14. The NT-06 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-14 and GS-15.
Job Description
For the NT-05: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 pay band (GS-11/12 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: executing administrative and business operations tasks within a Navy working capital fund. Examples of Qualifying Experience may include: Applying Navy financial management policies, federal contracting policies and implementation of human resource policies. Knowledge of information technology, budgeting, financial management, accounting, human resources, & acquisition. Skill in communication, researching, analyzing, and statistical methods. Ability to perform supervisory responsibilities and recommend process improvements. Examples of Qualifying Experience may include: Applying advanced Navy financial management policies, applying advanced federal contracting policies and implementation of complex human resource policies. Expert knowledge of information technology, budgeting, financial management, accounting, human resources, & acquisition. Skill in communication, researching, analyzing, and statistical methods. Ability to lead major high level business projects, perform supervisory responsibilities and recommend process improvements.
