Job Summary

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER/PHYSICAL SCIENTIST in the Environmental Compliance Branch/Product Line (EVl) of NAVAL FACILITIES ENG COMMAND HAWAII. A Cost-of-Living-Allowance (COLA) of 8.64% will be added to the stated salary.

Job Description

FOR THE 0819 ONLY: This position has a selective placement factor that will be used to screen out ineligible candidates. The selective placement factor is: You must currently be a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) if applying for the 0819 series. Your license must be held in a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States. You MUST provide a copy of your current license with your application. A copy of a wall certificate that does not have an expiration date will not serve to verify this requirement. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Interpreting environmental regulations and/or guidance to ensure compliance; 2) Preparing and presenting information related to environmental compliance/status; 3) Preparing and/or reviewing technical plans, reports, statements/scopes of work, budgets, and/or schedules; and 4) Conducting supervisory functions and completing administrative requirements to manage multiple personnel disciplines.
