Job Summary
You will serve as a Technical Director in the Executive Department at Naval Information Warfare Training Group Gulfport (IWTG-G).
Job Description
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience planning, directing, coordinating, and supervising all phases of the instructional design lifecycle-including planning, analysis, design, development, implementation/delivery, and evaluation-for complex training programs, specifically within Meteorological and Oceanographic (METOC) or related technical military domains. Experience serving as an educational program manager and authoritative advisor on curriculum management, curriculum surveillance, and training quality standards (such as the Master Training Specialist program). Experience providing strategic leadership and administrative guidance to executive leadership (e.g., Commanding Officers) on workforce management, including filling civilian vacancies, updating Position Descriptions (PDs), and monitoring command budgetary requirements. Experience serving as a principal liaison to coordinate training requirements and represent an organization before high-level stakeholders, external military departments, and academic institutions to integrate emerging technologies, tactics, and operational capabilities into educational courses.
