Job Summary

You will serve as an entry/developmental Security Specialist at the GG-09 grade level performing basic tasks regarding security functions and tasks involving the implementation or execution of security programs with the objective of detecting and preventing security problems which might endanger the activity or service, its sensitive operations, or its classified information.

Job Description

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS/GG-07) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: Conducting investigations of personnel and physical security incidents to include initial reporting and documenting findings in accordance with policy. Identifying protection measures and operational efficiency and effectiveness for personnel, information and physical security programs in accordance with regulations and directives (ICD 704/705). Preparing security reports, correspondence, studies, and messages in final form for inclusions into files and or to customers. Executing policies and procedures required to manage Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
