You will serve as an ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN in the STRATEGIC PLANNING BRANCH 713, TECHNICAL DIVISION LIFTING & HANDLING 710, DEPUTY LIFTING & HANDLING DEPT 701, LIFTING & HANDLING DEPT 700 of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.

Job Description

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience applying principles, methods, tools for developing, scheduling, coordinating, monitoring, evaluating, and managing contracting and Strategic Planning projects and resources, including technical performance, budgeting, and adherence to contracting requirements. Experience in applying the results of engineering and business research to secure existing products or services or to lead to the development of new products or services. Experience in establishing and maintaining relationships with key individuals or groups, both internal to the Government and external organizations, and ability to persuades others to builds consensus through give and take and gain cooperation from others to obtain information, find solutions, and accomplish goals. Experience planning, defining, developing, and documenting quality requirements for products, services, processes, and systems that are suitable to the activity, proportional to the risk, and consistent with established Agency guidance, practices, and standards. Experience monitoring progress and evaluating outcomes to improve organizational efficiency and effectiveness. Experience identifying and analyzing problems; weighing relevance and accuracy of information; providing solutions.
