You will serve as a CONTRACT SPECIALIST in the Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) of Department of Navy in Naples, Italy or Rota, Spain.

In addition to the Basic Education Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Soliciting, evaluating, negotiating, awarding, and administering contracts for the acquisition or procurement of equipment, supplies, or services. Examples of qualifying experience may include: Evaluating a contractor's capabilities; recommending an acquisition strategy; conducting contract negotiations; analyzing contract charges or costs to determine appropriateness or reasonableness; facilitating contract changes encountered throughout the phases of the contracting process using established contracting procedures.
