Job Summary

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Material Department of the Supervisor of Shipbuilding, Conversion and Repair of NAVSUP FLEET LOGISTICS CENTER JACKSONVILLE.

Job Description

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Utilizing knowledge of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) elements for lifecycle support of assigned systems and shipboard equipment including maintenance planning, supply support, technical data, computer resource support, storage, transportation, small purchases, facilities, and design interface. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Developing, reviewing, and approving ILS plans, procedures, and processes that may be implemented into new acquisition programs; 2) Utilizing knowledge of Navy Coordinated Shipboard Allowance List (COSAL) incremental products, Allowance Parts List (APL), and National Stock Numbers (NSN) to complete logistics tasks; 3) Investigating and solving issues such as stock number migration, source determination, statusing, and sources of substitute material; 4) Generating requisitions to support a wide range of equipment, services, and commodities using Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), e-MALL, OneTouch, among other services to support procurement; 5) Using Microsoft Office programs to create, manage and generate configuration management, hierarchical structuring of components and systems, spreadsheets, graphs, presentations, and reports Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management web site: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/#url=List-by-Occupational-Series Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
