You will serve as a TAP & Employment Readiness Specialist in the Department of the Navy of NAVSTA GTMO, Cuba .

Job Description

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Advising service members and family members on Transition Assistance Program (TAP) and employment services; 2) Facilitating the TAP and employment supportive programs, to include the Family Employment Readiness Program (FERP) and services and providing support to installation, and regional TAP and employment initiatives, and promoting family readiness; 3) Facilitating training courses and explaining course materials and their relevance and applicability to service members and their families; 4) Advising separated service members and their families on veterans' benefits to include medical, educational, employment, and finances.
