Job Summary

You will serve as a WORKLOAD FORECASTING SPECIALIST in the Public Workload Forecasting Branch (Code 1251), of the Workload Forecasting and Performance Program Division (Code 1250), in the Business and Strategic Planning Office (BSPO) (Code 1200),of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.

Job Description

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience with waterfront ships, shipbuilding, trades, skills and waterfront work practices relative to NNSY production and support effort. Experience with production methods, procedures, machines, and materials for nuclear and non-nuclear ship and submarine repair or other marine vessels. Experience and skill in analyzing, planning, and implementing future and/or immediate workload and resource control plans for overhaul, repair and maintenance of naval ships or similar vessels. Experience of naval organizations, as they relate to repair, alterations, depot Maintenance, etc., of naval ships and their specific relationships to other agencies and activities. Experience working in a fast-paced environment, utilizing strong Excel skills, working well as a team, and applying analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience utilizing and/or working with SPF, PMC and the WARR.
