Job Summary

You will serve as an INFORMATION SECURITY SPECIALIST in the Security Division (Code C1110), Infrastructure Management Division (1100B), Corporate Operations Department (Code 1100) of MID ATLANTIC REGIONAL MAINTENANCE CTR.

Job Description

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience applying DOD and USN security programs, concepts, standards, and practices; independently reviewing, analyzing, and resolving complicated security challenges. Experience understanding the Information Security, Controlled Unclassified Information Program, Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information, Sensitive Activity and Intelligence-Related Contracting (SAIRC) and Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI). Experience interpreting and implementing security policies, providing guidance to the Command, management, and other security specialists, to help in resolving conflicts in security requirements. Experience applying NAVSEA processes and procedures on access and movement control and safeguarding of Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information. Experience understanding computer networking concepts and protocols and network security methodologies.
