Job Summary

You will serve as a Financial Management Analyst (Travel Lead) in the Employee Services Division, Comptroller Department of NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV NEWPORT RI. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-4 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-11 and GS-12.

Job Description

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-03 pay band (GS-09/10 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:researching, interpreting, and analyzing governing directives such as the Financial Management Regulations and Joint Travel Regulations. Examples of qualifying experience may include: a comprehensive knowledge and use of the Navy Working Capital Fund (NWCF); proficiency in the use of the Defense Travel System (DTS) and Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (NERP); and utilizing word processing, spreadsheet, and graphic design applications to maintain records and prepare chats, graphs, and narrative reports for management.
