Job Description
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade (GS-13) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional engineer coordinating or conducting design, development, test & evaluation, life-cycle management, or in-service engineering of shipboard propulsion or auxiliary powered systems. Examples of qualifying experience may include: Providing full spectrum of Life Cycle Management and In-Service Engineering; developing system/equipment engineering change proposals and providing direct fleet technical assistance support; and providing technical management of all efforts that relate to Main Reduction Gear systems.
