Job Description
GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience drafting, initiating, revising, and closing Work Authorization Forms (WAFs) and tagout documentation for ships undergoing repair, maintenance, and modernization in a shipyard environment. Experience applying maritime engineering principles to support work involving hull, electrical, mechanical, and combat systems. Experience performing work requiring an understanding of shipboard systems operations and maintenance to ensure work authorization and tagout activities were completed in accordance with established technical, safety, and operational requirements. GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience performing work requiring an understanding of shipboard systems operations and maintenance to ensure work authorization and tagout activities were completed in accordance with established technical, safety, and operational requirements. Experience applying basic maritime engineering principles, including hull, electrical, mechanical, and combat systems.
