Job Summary

You will serve as an Administrative Officer in the Systems Directorate, Code 550200, Division of NAVAL RESEARCH LABORATORY.

Job Description

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NO-02 pay band or GS 05-10 grade level or in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Financial management in a Working Capital Fund environment, including monitoring cost center administration, reimbursables, direct charges, and payments as they relate to a Navy Working Capital Fund (NWCF), and executing the direct and indirect budget for the division; 2) Developing, managing, and applying policies and procedures related to budget and accounting specifically within a revolving fund environment, which involves analyzing and interpreting regulatory decisions to create and modify budgetary plans; 3) Managing and coordinating a division's administrative programs, including the performance appraisal program, hiring and promotion actions, awards, and disciplinary actions, as well as developing work plans to meet mission requirements; and 4) Performing studies and analyses of administrative policies, procedures, and organizational problems, including reviewing and evaluating programmatic materials (budgetary, fiscal, personnel, and contractual data) to identify issues and recommend improvements to management.
