You will serve as a PIPEFITTER SUPERVISOR in the PIPE/FLEX HOSE SHOP, HULL DIVISION, REPAIR DEPARTMENT (TRF-300) of TRIREFFAC KINGS BAY.

Qualification requirements emphasis is on quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time. Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the job elements and screen out listed below. This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. Applicants who do not receive a minimum of two points on the screen-out element(s) will be found ineligible. The Screen-out Element for this position is: ABILITY TO LEAD OR SUPERVISE Experience developing training curriculum and materials necessary to conduct classroom and shop training which include lesson plans and instructor guides, handouts, wall charts, transparencies, training aids, and both practical and knowledge examination. Experience working in the capacity as a leader and working and leading pipefitters in the assembly, installation, maintenance, and repair of submarine systems such as saltwater, oxygen, steam, nitrogen, oil, high pressure air, nuclear, feedwater, condensate, etc. Experience interpreting blueprints, instructions, and specifications and performing pipefitting measurement and layout. Experience providing instructions from shop supervisors, setting the working pace to ensure that schedules and completion dates are met in a proper and safe manner, and working closely with shop supervisors to prevent delays. Experience demonstrating proper work methods and ensuring accurate completion of documentation associated with work operations and ensuring that personnel training needs and any equipment, material, or personnel shortages or problems are met in a timely manner.
