Job Description

To qualify for the GS-14 grade level, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Directing independent research programs Designing and analyzing psychological experiments Evaluating and assessing research data Preparing written products that provide and explain scientific information Giving technical direction to research assistants carrying out research To qualify for the GS-13 grade level, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Developing and implementing independent research programs Executing psychological screening and assessments Writing scientific articles and reports for scientific and lay communities Leading and training research teams to deliver products on time and within budget Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management web site: Psychology Series 0180 (opm.gov) and General Schedule Qualification Standards (opm.gov).
