Job Summary

You will serve as a FACILITY OPERATIONS SPECIALIST in the N4 LOGISTICS AND SUPPLY DEPARTMENT of NAVOBSERV.

Job Description

To qualify for the GS-12, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience using mastery knowledge of DoD and DoN policies to provide guidance sufficient to manage USNO requirements for safety, security, logistics, administration, and contracting. Experience interpreting applicable federal laws, DoD policies and DoN policies for the purposes of designing USNO policies, instructions and procedures as they pertain to USNO. Experience developing training plans, building training activities and educating civilian personnel on topics related to safety and physical security. Experience communicating and coordinating base-wide building requirements and supporting the prioritization of resources to address major issues. Experience directing building readiness initiatives and aligning the organization's mission requirements with supporting critical building infrastructure requirements. Experience demonstrating knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations and Navy safety instructions and must be capable policies.
