I have the ability to perform the most difficult and complex tasks including: The ability to maintain, troubleshoot, overhaul, repair, and modify a variety of heavy duty vehicles and mobile equipment which have utility systems or special hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical, or electronic systems, features, or controls designed for such purposes as construction, combat, earth moving, firefighting, and comparable industrial or special applications. Determine the cause of malfunctions and makes repairs to a variety of heavy mobile equipment and vehicles. Complete major repairs, overhauls, and modifications independently. Conduct functional and performance tests on completed work. Trace and locate defects which cause hydraulic and other major systems to fail or not perform up to specifications regarding power output, lifting capacity, speed, and pressure. I am considered an expert and work with a high degree of independence. I have the ability to perform the full range of tasks including: The ability to maintain, troubleshoot, overhaul, repair, and modify a variety of heavy duty vehicles and mobile equipment which have utility systems or special hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical, or electronic systems, features, or controls designed for such purposes as construction, combat, earth moving, firefighting, and comparable industrial or special applications. I have the ability to perform common tasks including: Measures, fits, and installs components, such as pistons, valves, bearings, gears, and cylinders, to specified clearances. Connects, meshes, aligns, and adjusts parts and systems to assure proper operation of the complete system or vehicle. Adjusts pumps, power boosters, drive chains, and tension devices; synchronize remote or manual electrical and hydraulic controls; and sets timing of magnetos, distributors, injectors, and injection pumps to engine specifications. I work under close supervision of a work leader or journey-level employee who observes tasks in progress and upon completion to make sure they are properly performed.
