Job Summary

You will serve as an ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN (ELECTRICAL) in the HM&E DIVISION (CODE 280), ENGINEERING AND PLANNING DEPARTMENT (CODE 200) of NAVAL SHIP REPAIR FACILITY. ACCESS TO MEDICAL AND DENTAL CARE IN JAPAN IS EXTREMELY LIMITED. Please see Additional Information section below.

Job Description

GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a subject matter expert (SME) who independently manages and provides authoritative technical oversight for the repair, modernization, and certification of marine gas turbine control systems, demonstrating mastery in resolving novel and complex system casualties with full autonomy. GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector demonstrating considerable experience providing technical support for marine gas turbine control systems, working independently on routine tasks but receiving close supervision and specific instructions for more complicated assignments and unfamiliar procedures.
