You will serve as a Materials Handler in the Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) of NAVSUP FLEET LOGISTICS CENTER JACKSONVILLE.

The Screen-out Element for this position is: ABILITY TO DO THE WORK OF THE POSITION WITHOUT MORE THAN NORMALSUPERVISION. An example of the screen out element is: I have the ability to and have performed a full range of Material Handler tasks including: Stores, stacks and rotates materials under the first in first out (FIFO) concept using common hand tools and materials handling equipment up to 10,000 pounds capacity; Scans bar codes and/or inputs receipt information into automated record systems; Matches, checks, and compares data to be re-warehoused and consolidation instruments with materials to be moved and consolidated against materials already in storage locations; Ensures materials data is correct on materials to be stored against currently stored materials in the warehouse locations; Corrects discrepancies or ensures corrective action is taken; Transports or forwards materials from the receiving areas to storage locations; Annotates and signs receiving and other control documents, verifying items listed match items received.
